Thursday Birdblogging
You can see these tiny little birds all day and not actually know it, they're sort of everywhere when we go birding out at Hagerman Wildlife Refuge. I hear them called Western peewee and Wood peewee. I overheard a bird guide once call them 'feeder bird'. But every now and then, it's worth your time to take a look.
These were brought to you by Washington State, where the website gives some attention to the birds. see http://wdfw.wa.gov/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=4012&g2_serialNumber=3

I get occasional Eastern Peewees in my area. They're plain but perky and have a soft sweet song.
