There is a new ethic of picking up your ball and going home in D.C. these days. Given any kind of checks and balances, the oil industry acted like the occupied White House. It ran home and wouldn't play.

The failure of the right wing to have any toleration for any but its own rule is reminiscent of small children that Don't Play Well With Others. Wonder how they teach that in business school? Oh,Yeah, You're Two O' Them, 101?
