Thursday Birdblogging



Last week we had the Early bird, so naturally this week we have a Late Bird, the late Dodo.

Sorry I've been absent here, but have done something to my hand and it's really hard to type.

There is an actual preserved Dodo in Singapore, shown here, another evidence of the reason for its extinction. When the natural world received a lot of attention, men of science collected specimens. Being flightless and rare, the Dodo was collected out of existence.
