About Me
- Name: Diane
- Location: Temple City, CA
I'm retired now, with plenty of time to do a lot of reading, especially of newspapers. I think we're in trouble, folks.
A place for a tired old woman to try to figure things out so that the world makes a bit of sense.

Sweetie, I am so sorry. Peace to you, too.
So sad to hear.

Diane--I deeply sympathize.
I've said before, our furry companions leave us with one final gift after lives of giving: they give us the reason to unashamedly weep.
Peace...but after a good cry...
Diane,
Please accept my condolences for your loss.
Keep on keepin' on.

I know how you feel, Diane. My cat companion of 21 years had to be put down when he was too ill to be treated.
I haven't been able to adopt another cat since.
I still miss that cat. He was so special.
As I'm sure your Raptor was.
Peace.
Oh, how I love the cats and dogs that share our lives. At the end, they usually depend on us for help to leave the world, and much of the time, we're unsure about when that exact moment is, so it's hard. Mostly I think we know afterwards, for sure, that our critter understood and maybe asked us, and loved us as we said good-bye. They have beautiful little souls.
My condolences, Diane.

So sorry for your loss, Diane. I just gave our 10 yr. old calico extra pets and rubs....
Diane, I'm very sorry about your cat. Hugs and kisses.
Thanks to all of you for the good wishes and the condolences. As I've said many times, one of the loveliest things about human beings is that they are capable of forming relationships with animals, at least the good kind of humans can.
Diane... my friend...
I just became aware.
Our house passes all our wishes for Raptor and her journey to the Bridges.
And our total heartfelt wishes for your heart.
Arrow, Cruiser, Hidey, Magoo, and always Zoey.
So sorry. Raptor will meet my mom's old cat who turned into an angel cat yesterday. He was 17.
