There are still little wisps of smoke rising from inside the volcano, it's alive but hasn't erupted since 1944.
Not bad photos, little sis. Better than the last time-- blurry shots out the bus window. Glad you got around and saw the Pompeii stuff instead of vegetating on board draped around the buffet table. Or the bar. I always opt for the bar. You learn everything worth knowing from the bartenders. Ta Ta 4 now... VaticanWest
