Wood ducks; Thursday Birding

Welcome to The First Thursday Birding Event!

This picture is a delightful discovery I have made, looking for a wood duck family by googling.

My favorite bird event was seeing a family of wood ducks in the shallows on Assateague Wildlife Refuge all popping up out of the water to catch the seeds on some tall grasses growing in the water.
