Early Stages - Habitat Build in Casablanca, In Pictures

Some early stages of building, putting together the frame that will make it possible to make a house. Cut and hammer, putting together something that will last and be home.

A bit of communal visiting, putting the frames for the walls to use for a lunch table, not yet together with the roof structure.

Frame is up, the basic house is ready for the siding and roofing, first build site in Casablanca.

The house is being built for these kids, and their families. Two houses are going up on a good-sized lot, that is owned by the father of the two ladies who are getting the houses. As mentioned, sweat and actual equity comes from the agreement with the families we are building for.

Oh, well, we didn't actually build Santiago, below.

This is the city of Santiago, Chile, from the top of the mountain in Santiago City Park.
