Some More England Snapshots
This is the only remaining Gate to the City of London. It's been moved and reconstructed a number of times, now is behind St. Paul's Cathedral. It dates back to the city's earliest days, and with the Roman wall was built @ 200 A.D.
Along the Thymes is a walkway called The Queen's Walk and it's a very pleasant place to stroll. Here from behind a sea-themed lamppost is a view of the Tate Modern Art Museum.
This view from Tower Bridge is London City Hall and Potters Field Park. I had to visit my relatives' graves, didn't I? Since my family wound up in the U.S., I figure they had to be transported for some reason.
Along the Thymes there are some old wharves that have been made over into shops, and like Hays' Wharf in the picture, had attractions like this modernistic sculpture of a sailing ship added, to increase their interest.
