This is Spike. She sleeps most of the day and part of the night. Just about 2:00 AM, however, she comes alive. That's when she awakens her brother Home Boy, and then they awaken me when it becomes obvious that their food bowls are empty.

And that is why I live on East Coast Time even though I live on the West Coast.
