Bonus Critter Blogging: Horny Toad

The Horny Toad is not encountered much anywhere any more, but when I was a kid we found them when we were playing outside, and adored them. I don't think they were tormented to death by kids, but we're probably partly responsible. These are great lizards, and probably aren't helped by the poisons people put on their unnatural lawns. Even though I don't use poisons though, I haven't seen a horny toad in recent years.
